PEOPLE - EXAMPLES

These photographs are not for sale. They are here purely as an example of ones I have taken over the last few years.

It is always my intention to have a natural look in my photographs. I do not like the posed, cheesy, forced grins that some people seem to think is necessary when confronted with a camera pointing at them. If taking photographs outside I will also always look for a way to enhance the picture by using nature in some way but sometimes, more often than not, you just have to be around, and aware, of what is going on.

Please look at the photos in conjunction with my page on terms, conditions and prices.

CHILDREN

I love watching children's faces as they discover, understand or just live. In the last two pictures, my granddaughter has just discovered there is someone just like her under the water.

Family portraits do require a more formal pose but, even then, naturalness can shine through.

I particularly like the second picture when no one is looking at the camera and their baby sister is far more important. I'm also open to a little bit of trickery, if you want.

I am also available to photograph any sporting, or other, event you wish. In motorsport while I can't quarantee to always film your mistakes or even make your car gleam, I hope I can convey my love of the sport. While in New Zealand, I was invited to a private training session for the Auckland Blues while should you ever be confronted by a group of Maori warriors and not know your haka from your wero, I'm your man to capture the moment. More seriously I am happy to attend and photograph any event
