NEW ZEALAND

I lived in New Zealand for over four years. It is a beautiful country and only 4 million people live in an area not much less than the UK. It is made up of of two separate islands, cunningly called the North Island and the South Island. During my stay I took a 12 week trip through both islands.

To buy a print, note the reference number and click on the link at the foot of this page. Obviously you will receive the print without the copyright watermark which appears on these pages.

Prints are available in the standard sizes and prices which are also shown at the foot of this page. If you would like a different size or a print on acrylic, please email me for prices.

Prints are sold as soon as payment is received. From that moment they are no longer available for anyone else to purchase. If you are interested in buying a print but not at the standard sizes, you can reserve this print by making a payment at the lowest level, i.e. 15. Once you have discussed your requirements with me, you can then make the additional payment and I will then process your order. This can avoid the disappointment of losing out if discussions take time. In the event of you deciding not to proceed, the 15 you have paid will be refunded to you.

The first two pictures here are of Christchurch and, after the recent devastating earthquake, I have no idea if those two views still exist. I hope so. The third photo is off a bleak beach just north of Blenheim in the South Island too while photo four is from a jounrey on the Taieri Gorge Railway, which should be on all bucket lists.

All four of these photos are from along the Abel Tasman Coast on the very north of the South Island. I took a water taxi along the coast and then walked back through the Abel Tasman National Park. If you want beauty and peace, and a good walk, try it.

Eight pictures from Waiheke Island, a 35 minute ferry ride from Auckland and home to about 8.000 people except when 40,000 seem to arrive in their boats and cars over the New Year holiday.

Rotorua has bubbling springs, a none too pleasant smell from the sulphur and a lamdscape of myriad colours.

Finally three iconic New Zealand photos. A Maori warrior re-creation, the Treaty ground at Waitangi and glasses of wine in a Waiheke vineyard.
